Kaleidico, a full-service digital marketing agency in the Detroit-metro area, is seeking a talented, curious, initiated, Can-Do attitude PHP/MySql Developer. You will be assigned to several of the best companies in Michigan to support the development of interactive Web experiences. Your primary activities will be focused on:
- Custom Wordpress plugin development
- Customization of Wordpress and design templates
- Custom social media/networking tools and platforms
- Interactive Web experiences and features
- Social media tools and application development
These activities will be performed on the behalf of Kaleidico as well as clients from funded startups to Fortune 500 companies.
Our team moves fast and expects to deliver the highest level of measurable results to our clients. Your development projects will always be part of revenue generating marketing campaigns. We are looking for online features and functionality that triggers compelling actions and interactions.
A successful candidate MUST have the following skills/characteristics:
- Genuine interest in programming, problem solving, and creative solutions
- Portfolio demonstrating strong and varied programming projects
- Collaborate with a team to deliver innovative creative concepts that meet client business objectives, including social gestures, dynamic data, interactive features, gamification, etc.
- Proficient in Object Oriented PHP 5.x
- Proficiency in Python is a strong plus
- Javascript, CSS, DHML, AJAX
- Capable of coding HTML and HTML5
- Proficient with Wordpress CMS
- Experience with LAMP technologies (Linux/Apache/MySql/PHP)
- Experience with developing in Amazon Web Services (S3, Cloudfront, Glacier, SES)
- Ability to operate under pressure and meet tight deadlines with flexibility to switch tasks frequently, while maintaining clear understanding of urgent priorities
- Be positive and personable, and comfortable working in an open, busy environment
- Work well with other people, but is also able to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
- Self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative
- Positive attitude
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
